i dont feel like making a huge long recap post so this is just gonna be thoughts and rambles. Even though im rushing this a lot more than last year, 2024 was one of the better years of my life!!! shit kinda fuckin rocked!! But not in ways that are fun to write about in a blog post like this, I didnt get to do as much creatively as I wouldve wanted to, but when it comes to my personal life and personal junk, its improved 20 fold! As much as I wish I got more done as an artist, ill take another 2024 in a heartbeat.

The start of this year was genuine definition of TERRIBLE, shit was not fun in the slightest!! But it really came around When I basically just spent a whole month hanging out with pals IRL. A couple buddies drove over and stayed with me for like a week (shoutout @decafcoffee) and I also flew out and spent awhile chillin with @pollyanoid & @gooberthed who were an absolute blast, I love you guys!!! Saw a bunch of other NG folks there too, Genuinely just a lovely time! That trip kinda marked the bounce back of this year for me. Also shout out @LizziesDrawer , we big chilled

Most of my time online was spent exploring new stuff i'd never seen before, and rediscovering the good ol stuff! Lots of nostalgia tripping and working on random personal projects. I bought a bunch of wiring and cabling for my CRT so I could fuck around with VHS tapes n junk. I made a custom FLCL tape so I could watch it whenever and I'm still really proud of that! (even though it wasnt difficult per se)

I really got to go out to do more fun stuff this year, Went to a bunch of concerts! QBomb, Kill Bill: The Rapper, and RAV being the absolute highlights. I was lucky enough to be able to talk to all these guys after their respective shows and mannn its so fun talking to such dedicated creative people about their work! Also went to a bunch of museums and cool little spots whenever i could

Speaking of Creative People and their work... Hello Newgrounds!! As always its been an honor to be apart of this space and contributing what I do to the noise of art we all create, Everyone say this in their posts all the time but man I am so overjoyed for all the people I've met in this space, and even more so the ones I can call my friends!

I also worked on a bunch of stuff myself this year, Not all of it has seen the light yet! Like the Creepypasta Jam Game for example, Which took up most of the latter half of the year, and is still taking up time! I had planned to get a lot more games out this year but pretty much only got one out! The Bug Collab was a fun little adventure of a project! I will say though, Going into the coming years, I am pretty much done hosting collabs. CCJAM is the last little one I am planning on doing, mostly because I dont want collab stuff to define me, I have so much stuff I wanna make that isnt collab stuff!!

Overall, this has been a pretty fuckin good year, I've grown and changed a lot. New memories, new friends, old memories, old friends. There's so much more I could write here, so many more events and people I could talk about, but thats for my noggin to love and appreciate i guess. 2025 could be terrible for all I care, I think ive learned how to survive the lows much better than i could before, esp when I got such rad friends, and such a rad community surrounding me. Im on that growth shit.

This year has felt like I burned away all the old terrible shit and started the reckless journey towards shattering my gosh darn cocoon!! see yall next year !
